The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (RPO) has delighted audiences worldwide with its versatile programming, having been in constant demand for live performances since its formation in 1987.
We are proud to say they will be entertaining the crowds all night with the infamous John Rigby conducting all night.
The Military Wives Choir from Salisbury Plain are back this year with their stunning performance. In December 2011, having been inspired by the BBC’s The Choir series of The Military Wives with Gareth Malone, six ladies from Bulford met up to discuss the possibility of forming their own choir.
The choir is made up of Military Wives, Mothers, Partners and Veteran Wives.
Joanne Pullen, Jo Gibb and Marissa Dunlop will be making a stunning appearance. Here’s a little video snippet for your enjoyment. They recently wooed the crowds at #DD70.
The P&O Ferries Choir as seen on national TV will also be performing. They are drawn from a broad cross-section of the ferry company with members working on different ships and shorelines.
Opera – Tenor James Edwards and Soprano Hye-Youn Lee each will be making a stunning appearance.
James Edwards is a Graduate of the Young Artist Programme at the Royal Opera House. He regularly appears on projects like Last Night of the Spring Proms. Looking ahead he is to return to the Royal Albert Hall to sing Pinkerton in 2015 revival of Madam Butterfly.
Hye-Youn Lee was selected by The Independent on Sunday as “The Face to Watch in Classical Music 2013″.
This May she made her Scottish Opera debut as Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly, opening at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh.
The Dreamers are a part of the 6-piece band Virgin Soldiers, who have supported Joan Armatrading, Keane and McFly, 2 of the musicians have written an inspiring musical drama called ‘The Dreamers’.
In the run up to the show the cast have released the lead track ‘The Dreamers Anthem’, which is now available to download online. All profits will go to Stars Foundation for Cerebral Palsy and Never Such Innocence, a new charity raising funds for five military charities. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6-Cbv2u9Ro]
Battle of Britain will be Swooping the Kentish skyline around Leeds Castle, a thrilling evening in total.
